Hmmm, who could it possibly be on the phone with Eric? Not saying. What I will say, however, is that I'm really enjoying those fireball shots that Eric is dodging. Looks neat.

The thing I like about Mary is the fact that she always has other people do things for her. For example, she was told to call Joel's Dad, but instead, it's revealed by Liz that she decided to follow Eric and Joel's fight. It's implied that she told Liz to call Joel's Dad for her, so she can follow the fight, and avoid the conflict of talking to Mr. Heyworth or getting involved in Kevin's fight with the rock monsters (which is still going on at this point). I think that's a very intriguing quality that Mary has. It may come into play later.

So, that big boom at the last panel of last page was actually Eric being blown out of the sky. You can probably also tell that I'm no good at background characters. They look totally disproportionate. Grrrr.
