Now, I've still got to figure out exactly how the interior of the comic shop is because it always seems like the characters are in front of walls with comics on them. Never is there the entrance in. I should really start including that.

10-3-12 Sketch

And finally, to wrap up our 3 day long sketch schedule, here's a self portrait. Yep, not too much is different about that picture from my actual self. I am wearing a Spider on my shirt because of my love for Spider-Man. Tomorrow is the cover page for the next story, then Friday, we move right into it.

10-2-12 Sketch

This was a very old drawing I did for one of my first stories back in March. Even though it's an incredibly horrible drawing, it's still one of my favorites. It's little kid Kevin in a Superman costume. What's better than that? I've also noticed that Kevin has been in the past 2 days of sketches. I love Kevin.

So, as we conclude High School Party, I'd like to take a look at the evolution of the art. Below is a recent picture of Kevin. One of the better ones if I do say so.

Now, let's take a look at the never before seen 1st actual appearance of Kevin...

Yep. Believe it or not, I used to think this art was good. There are a lot of differences, but I think the biggest and most noticeable is the neck. I've progressed into making a more cartoonish style. Notice in the top picture how the head is big, but not so big that it looks abnormally big. Voila, cartooning. if you think I'm going to be showing earlier drawings of other characters, your wrong. If you read that this early picture of Kevin as an example for how ALL of my characters were, and you read through the entire comic again, you can see how the art got progressively better. I could go on about how the hair has progressively gotten longer (especially with Mary) but I won't. I'll end with the amusement of the horrible drawing of Kevin.

There you have it, a Claire's Log to close out my first 3 month long story arc. What Claire says in her log is incredibly relevant to the end of the story. Like I said earlier, although I wrapped up a log of stories, I've also opened up some new ones for future arcs.

As tradition for the end of a major storyline, I'm going to be taking a break. I'd say the break should be only a couple days, 2 maybe 3. I'll be posting sketches and some behind the scenes stuff. We're going to be taking a walk away from major storylines for a while. Our next couple of stories are small stories called Fillers. At my estimate, I'd say they last about a month. The story is still continuity in this case, it's just not going to be a 3 month long project. Just wait until you see what I have in store for the next big arc.
