Thus ends Massive Damage, the biggest and highest budgeted arc I've ever produced. It's been a long ride, but it was fun. AND it ends on a cliffhanger. I'm very excited to show everyone what I have planned coming soon. As per the end of every big storyline, I'm taking a week's break to re-charge. I'll be back up on December 30th with the next story!

Lots of information being given out in this page. A lot of this information plays a big role later in the storyline. What was established was that Joel is clean of any black magic controlling him, but the burning of the book doesn't destroy his magic ability altogether because the black magic was technically not his own. He still has yet to access his own magic ability.

Kevin:In a nutshell, Joel was possessed, stabbed you and you died. Gwen zapped him to put him to sleep. You both are all good.

HA HA! The funeral scene was only a dream. ERIC IS ALIVE! Bet you didn't see that coming. Anyway, I think I should address why this page looks weird, like there's not a zoom in on the panels. This was the first picture I took after downloading iOS 7, so it took some time to figure out since the camera is kind of different. Pardon if the next couple of pages look odd, it's just the camera being weird.

The thing I like about Mary is the fact that she always has other people do things for her. For example, she was told to call Joel's Dad, but instead, it's revealed by Liz that she decided to follow Eric and Joel's fight. It's implied that she told Liz to call Joel's Dad for her, so she can follow the fight, and avoid the conflict of talking to Mr. Heyworth or getting involved in Kevin's fight with the rock monsters (which is still going on at this point). I think that's a very intriguing quality that Mary has. It may come into play later.

I am glad to announce that I've finally invested in a graphing tablet and photoshop. The days of pencil and paper are winding down. I have a about 3 weeks of story pages completed already on paper, so whenever I figure out that tablet and how to work it all, I should be able to do the comic entirely digital like a big boy. I'm a real professional now.

I only count 5 Robins in Batman canon. I count Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake, Stephanie Brown, and Damien Wayne. Although she's recently started appearing in New 52 canon, I don't count Carrie Kelly. Unless she eventually becomes the new, permanent Robin, I only consider her a part of the Dark Knight Returns story. On another note, this commentary is incredibly irrelevant.
