So many different types of Kevins! I pride myself on the different costumes I'm able to put Kevin into. I feel like he's the only character I can do that for...I don't exactly know why...

Hey, Mary's in this arc!? Yep. I figured it might be cool if she made an appearance if they all went out to eat after Eric got off work. I guess I could've put Claire in the panel...BUT NO! I have other plans for her during this meeting at an unnamed restaurant. A couple pages ago, in the commentary, I mentioned that I didn't know if I liked Erica's hair completely behind her shoulders. I think I like how it turned out in this page, with just a little over the shoulder. Also, have I mentioned how much I love drawing Mary? Because she's one of, if not, my favorite character to draw.

Dominic finally hit a nerve with Eric. The thing about Eric is that, as he says, he rarely gets angry. Dominic has finally gotten everyone he works with angry. I also find it funny that even when he's angry, Eric still continues to call him Drips.

Everybody hates Dominic. I'm not a fan of how Eric's face came out in panel 4. I don't know. There's something about it that doesn't looks right. It's like he looks like he's asking a question rather than advising Dominic.

I like the fact that nobody but the immediate group of friends knows that Erica is a clone of Eric. It's subtly mentioned a few times but never fully explained. I don't know if I'm necessarily a fan of Erica's hair how it is. I mean, the style of it is fine, but I kind of want to go back to how it originally was with a bit over the shoulder. I don't know. I'll make up my mind sooner or later.

It's only in Panel 1 that you can really notice that Erica is a clone of Eric. Maybe, I only see it, but considering that I write and illustrate the comic, I notice small things like that and try to incorporate them in. I've explained this on a countless number of occasions that although Erica is a clone of Eric, their personalities differ extremely. I like to think that Erica is more impulsive and wild than Eric. Eric can sometimes act impulsive at times, however, he usually does it for the fun. Eric procrastinates, but everything always works out in the end for him. I would say Eric is a "voice of reason" for some characters. But, he's not. If anything, they're the voice of reason to him. But, its all about how the characters develop over time, and trust me, they will.

I'm trying to make the characters subtly aware that in comic continuity, it's December 5th and they live in the midwest. Although, I am still not revealing the state of Marville. So, I give some of them jackets. The next couple of stories, for that matter, will take place in the month of December. I have 2 "filler" stories after this, then an Untitled 3rd Major Arc. I guess this can be considered an arc, but it's not a multi-month thing. If I had this schedule during HSP, I may still be on it right now. So, this story really isn't a major arc.

This is another example of a sketch I do the day before the actual comic page is drawn. I like to add notes for myself, like if I screw something up, do it sloppy, or can't think of meaningless dialogue. It's where all the brainstorming happens.
