I find it odd that I haven't got around to writing a commentary in a while. There's some things that I feel should be addressed, not that anyone really cares. I've noticed that this story is moving at an incredibly slow pace. To be honest, that's what I wanted. The date in the continuity of GLD Comics is, right now, at January 6th. That's dangerously close to time in actual life. My concern was that I was eventually going to catch up or even get ahead of reality's time. So, I wanted to make a really long story that would take a while to complete, thus giving me some leeway with timelines. But yeah, this story is moving very slow. This is a 5 part story, so it's pretty big, and we're about 3/4 finished with part 1.

I like the idea of Mary having a short fuse and constant annoyance with Jasper. It pleases me.

I had so much trouble with Kara's design in the past couple of days. I originally had her with glasses, then a snobby Hollywood type character, and now this. I really like this design though, more so than any of the others. The goal was to try and make her and Mary look somewhat similar. Even though they have a completely different character design, I chose some traits of Mary and dumbed them down a bit for Kara, trying to make her look a bit older than Mary, considering that she's 22 (That probably won't be said in future pages. I don't want to say too much about Kara as a character because we see more of her personality and why she's back in Marville later.

As for Mary, I feel like it's time for some changes in attire for her. I try to remember that in comic continuity, it's currently late December and Marville is somewhere in the Midwest region of the United States, so it's probably kind of cold. Therefore, I can't give her the High School Party attire. So, I originally had her in this page wearing a sweater vest, but the design of it was so bad that it looked like a shorter sleeved T-shirt, so I kept that and said "whatever." Hurray for long commentaries!

AWH! A new character has appeared! I don't want to say too much right now, but Friday, I'll get into an explanation of the character. As for Mary, we'll see how she may or may not gradually develop a tolerance for Jasper later.
